If the outcome is not satisfactory, then you can approach the Driving Standards Agency Registrar of Approved Driving Instructors and use either the full name of the instructor or their ADI number to make a complaint. What to look for in driving instructor?

How do you report dangerous driving? If there’s a problem with your driving instructor ’s service or behaviour, or if you think your instructor is acting illegally, you can report the instructor via GOV.

Approved driving instructors can choose to follow the ADI voluntary code of practice.

Other things were said as well. Then he stretches over where DD was in the driving seat and put his hand on the horn few a good few seconds.

The best way to report dangerous driving to the police is to call the non-emergency number on 101. Several police forces also have website forms where you can submit a report online.

The Metropolitan Police website has a form for reporting traffic offences around the UK. Report an unlicensed instructor.

If your instructor is unlicense or if you witness unlicensed driving instruction in your area, please report the matter to your local Garda station or to the RSA at the details below: ADI Enforcement Officer, Road Safety Authority, Moy Valley Business Park, Primrose Hill, Ballina, Co.

If you have only just started driving and get caught doing it dangerously, you can not only have your licence revoke you can also be asked to re-sit both your driving and theory tests. Alternatively, if you witness dangerous driving you can always report it to the police, which will then be passed onto the DVLA. Our driving school inspectors work with schools and instructors to maintain standards and help improve the delivery of training.

As a driving instructor, you’re teaching people how to drive for a fee. In order to do this, however, you need the correct cover. Hire and reward cover is required by law for all driving instructors —you won’t find it on standard car insurance policies. It allows you to legally carry people or their property in exchange for a fee.

Whilst sat in a Driving Test Centre waiting room one day, several nervous driving test candidates awaited the arrival of their examiners.

Increasingly loud footsteps prompted their arrival, one by one. Each called the name of their candidate, whilst each instructor anxiously hoped their pupil wouldn’t get… ‘John’.

We’ll keep a record on the instructor’s file, and if a pattern emerges, we’ll start the. More than 2learner drivers accused their instructors of sexually inappropriate behaviour last year, prompting calls for lessons to be recorded to protect students, the Sunday Telegraph can reveal. Driving instructor complaints should first be taken up with the instructor directly, regardless of whether they are working under a driving schools name.

The vast majority of driving instructors are self-employed and are to an extent, responsible for their own behaviour and professional conduct. Many learners complain that their instructors turn up late for their driving lessons and that cuts into their allocated time for which they are paying.

A one off 5-minutes lateness can be excused but repeatedly not being on time shows irresponsibility of the driving instructor and it causes more frustration when the teacher does not make up for the lost time.
