How much to respray a bumper

How much does front bumper respray cost? Car is in good overall condition with only minimal of repair work. Car requires some remedial work - dents straightened out and two small rust patches made good.

Ford Focus complete respray. Bumper respray cost?

Hinterland New Member. There are many horror stories online of terrible colour matches, overspray, peeling lacquerer and so much more. When it comes to paint quality, you really do get what you pay for.

We strongly recommend getting car respray quotes from reputable companies or those that come highly recommended from other garages or enthusiasts forums. You would be looking around the £150. Some Halfords outlets have a smart repair service this is worth looking into.

Well depend on where you are, if it requires removing from the car, if it has any damage or if its new and primed.

My local paint shop would charge £60-£to pray a new primed bumper depending on paint used. That can boost the price anywhere up to £0depending on the vehicle. You may just want a specific part of your car resprayed like the bonnet, of course.

For an average car, you will be looking at paying anywhere between £3and £5per panel depending on the size of the task. A front bumper respray can cost £1– £3and upwards, depending on the make, model or paint. A Chipex kit costs from just £34. Chipex paint chip repair kits are priced at: £34.

Obviously, a small scratch is quicker and easier to repair than a full crack along the length of the bumper. I had a full front bumper respray on my DS, everything including VAT and labour charges came to just shy of £400. Of course, a car wrap is only temporary and can be removed but a respray is permanent and a bad respray can cost a lot to rectify. Check out our guide to car respray costs here.

Cost to Remove a Car Wrap. We asked several car wrapping firms how much they charge to remove a car vinyl wrap from a medium-sized car and the average cost was over £600.

You will save a whack if you can get the bumper off yourself and re-fit, even if you leave the car with them knocking off that labour should represent a healthy saving. I was wanting mine done I would be expecting to pay around that.

If you know any bodyshops they will probably get it done for £150. Only takes mins to remove and strip a BM bumper. The max should be £250. U-turn can become reverse. I pay including prep etc. Shop around and ask if they use a booth. Many bodyshops will spray bumpers in the yard. Respraying a plastic bumper. Might have some mitigating factor but not much. Hope you took photos of the condition of his car(the whole car).

Lemme give you an e. They will try to colour match it as best they can but anything plastic is always a mildly different shade. At some point, probably sooner than later thanks to a Cornish rock, I will have to respray the front bumper of my 360.

I would prefer to remove the bumper myself whilst the car is off the road in winter and take that to the spray shop but some people say they really need the car to match the paint because of fading. I got my bumper sprayed for £1for example, other places charge £170.
