Speed awareness course locations

Speed Awareness Locations. Where do you want to take your course? Need help finding where you are? Two trainers must be present throughout each course.


However, the course is not a soft option, as attendance on the course will include a fee for the services of the authorities, as well as the time and effort involved. With access to nearly 3training venues nationwide we offer you a flexible and scalable delivery solution.

Variety of courses. If the subject matter is around a speeding offence, delegates attend a course to understand aspects of road traffic law and best practice driving, especially around the speeds on different roads and why speed limits exist. Our course has been fully accredited by ROSPA.


The course is one of a kind and fully endorsed by our partners.

A speed awareness course is an educational alternative to penalty points and a fine, that some people may be eligible for. Your eligibility for a course is determined by whether you have completed one in the last three years, your speed and how promptly you respond to the Notice of Intended Prosecution.


The amount by which you can break the speed limit and still be eligible to take a speed awareness course is between 10% of the speed limit plus 2mph, to 10% of the limit plus 9mph. If you cannot find a course using your own address then please widen your search by taking out your address on the course location screen and putting a county in. This will give you a wider range of courses to choose from.


These courses are accessed by the internet from your home address with no need to travel to any destination. You can find a list of course locations here, but you won’t be able to actually book a speed awareness course unless you’ve received an offer from the police. You can choose to take a course at any location —you aren’t restricted to taking it in the area where you committed the speeding offence. Not all of our courses run at all of our venues.

Drink Drive Rehabilitation Scheme classroom courses are proposed to resume from 03rd August with the exception of Northern Ireland classes resuming in September. This course is designed to cover appropriate speeding offences detected by Automatic Camera Devices and Police Officers. Only one course can be undertaken in any three year period.


We do not offer cautions for safety camera offences. It’s like going back on an intensive, theoretical driving lesson where you’re retaught the dangers of speeding or dangerous driving. This course can only be offered once in a period of three years from the last date of detection.


You must book your course within days following receipt of an offer.
