D1 driving license

What is Ddrivers license? Can I drive a Dvehicle in the Dcategory? This means that while you can drive a minibus, you cannot drive it for hire or reward. If you wish to gain your Dlicence you are required to undergo a Dtraining course and test.


To take the test, you must hold a valid category B licence and be at least 21-years old.

Lorries and buses you will need to fill in a D9. For all other licences you need a D1. Also to drive C and D vehicles professionally you should be in possession of a Blue Drivers card to show you have current CPC training.
