Compulsory basic training (CBT) is a course you usually have to take before you ride a moped or motorcycle on the road. The training makes sure you can ride safely on your own while you practise.

The Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) is the first step you must take when learning to ride a moped or motorcycle and is a course of training you are required to complete satisfactorily. All new riders must by law, complete this course before they are legally entitled to ride a moped or motorcycle on the roa including when they are on riding lessons.

The day intensive motorcycle training course involves further training on a 125cc after your Compulsory Basic Training (the cost of which is included in the day training course package price) until you reach a safe standard prior to moving to the larger Direct Access motorcycle. We suggest that you come for your Compulsory Basic Training.

A fast track course will suit some people if everything goes without a hitch. It does not however, allow for failing any.
